How does the spaghetti/noodle/pasta attachment work?
The dough is pressed through the metal plates in the extrusion process to form noodles. The noodles are then dried and stored for future use, or they can be cooked immediately. What kind of noodles can I make with this attachment? The included pasta plates make thin and thick spaghetti, flat noodle, macaroni and lasagna noodles. We recommend using speed 10 while extruding the noodle dough. I found two small metal clips with the pasta maker. What do I use them for? Metal clips are included to hold the bowl on the mixer arms while mixing dense dough. I’ve never made pasta before. Any hints? Perfecting your pasta-making will take a little practice. The dough should be a little on the dry side before you run it through the machine. Resting the dough is very important, as this allows the gluten to develop.
