Both before and after a Capture session, the Solitaire Forensic performs a CRC calculation on both the Suspect and Target drives. During the CRC calculation, the sum of the bits in the last sector of each track is added and the final results are stored in memory. These values will be displayed on the report for each drive. The user will receive an error in the event of a mismatch.
