How does the Snow Emergency Phone Alert Service work?
When a Snow Emergency is declared, the Snow Emergency Phone Alert Service will begin a mass telephone calling campaign with a pre-recorded message alerting folks of a Snow Emergency. If you have caller identification, the phone number displayed will be (612) 348-7669 (which is the Minneapolis Snow Emergency Hotline: 348-SNOW) and may be identified as MPLS SNOW EMERG.
