The SMP Gateway is provided with a complete set of Windows based configuration and maintenance tools. You will use the SMP Config tool to enter all the data points and set up the polling cycle for the device. Once you have created a device setup, you can then save it as a template to be used to configure other similar devices. The use of template eases the task of configuring devices and reduces the risks of configuration errors.
