The Slacker G2, refreshes via USB or WiFi. For the USB refresh you only need to make sure you have the Slacker USB Station Refresher. This should have been done when you first got the player from the link http://www.slacker.com/start. For WiFi you just need to be near a router that is either open access and/or shared with security protected by WEP or WPA encryption with a passkey.
