How does the scoring and pass/fail process work?
While theoretical knowledge is important, in resume writing it is practical application of that information in the form of creating a compelling, dynamic resume document that is the key. The overall assessment reflects the reality of the real world as follows: Mini quizzes results at the conclusion of each module represent 15% of the final score. The final resume submission represents 85% of the end result. There are three pass levels: Gold Ticket Pass: Gold pass students with automatically receive CDI’s Certified Advanced Resume Writer (CARW) credential. Silver Ticket Pass: Silver pass students are provided a second opportunity to achieve Gold pass status by re-submitting the final assessment with suggested amendments by the course facilitator. Upon successful upgrade to a Gold pass, the CARW credential will be conveyed. Bronze Ticket Pass: Bronze pass members have completed the course modules although knowledge and practical application is not yet at certification level.
