How does the scoring algorithm work?
All members are scored between -6 and +36 which correlate to a “star rating” of 0-5 stars in half-star increments. For fairness we don’t publish the exact formula but you can be 100% sure it is fairly and consistently applied. Virtually all evidence supplied will contribute to your score, and the fact that certain items HAVEN’T been supplied is a negative indicator. Some indicators, such as a valid PLI policy, carry much more weight than others.
