How does the schedule and learning format differ from other programs?
Specifically designed for working adult students, the convenient, accelerated programs (one night per week, five – eight week courses) place much of the learning responsibility with the student. The College of Business and Management believes that students learn as much from their experiences and those of their classmates as they do from textbooks and lectures, hence the format of small classes, discussions, project teams, and hands-on, practical learning. In addition to four hours each week in class, time spent each week outside of class will depend on your degree program and personal study habits. Unlike traditional classrooms, you get to choose the hours and location of your participation both with regard to individual and team assignments. Students move through the program in small groups, with other working adults. In addition to a one night per week format, select programs are offered online!
