How does the Safety WebQuest bring in the use of technology?
This WebQuest also brings in various types of technology for the students to use and learn with. To begin, the computer and Internet will be used to complete the WebQuest itself and also the scavenger hunt. Students can use a digital camera for still pictures to be included in their poster and a digital video camera to film their videos or skits. A TV/VCR will be used to view the videos and also to watch the initial safety video created by previous students. Finally, an audio player (CD or cassette player) can be used to playback the songs and poems. So as you can see students will not only gain knowledge of safety but also on the use of technology.
