How does the RNA-1845 handle security?

0

The RNA-1845 has three levels of security built into the device. 1. User Access – View data only 2. Admin Access – View and Change data 3. Factory Access – Factory ONLY RTG recommends that the RNA sit on the inside of a traditionally secured network, including router and firewall security. The RNA-1845 security levels are not meant to provide global security for the device and or device network. In most cases your plant network segment has already been secured and is ready for the RNA-1845. In new and or unique applications, it may be necessary to involve IT resources.
