How does the reporting for Pioneers in India differ from other countries?
Due to their unique culture, the most effective way to reach Indian people for Christ is different from other countries. The churches meet on Sunday morning in the church building. Because most Indian people consider the church a place for Christians to attend, services are also held about three nights every week, either outdoors or in a member’s home.. In addition to these cottage services, most Indian Pioneers conduct at least one weekly prayer meeting where believers have fasted all day in anticipation of the service. To standardize our reporting, we report the cottage services as Sunday evening services, and the fasting prayer meetings as the Wednesday evening services.
