How does the Refrigerator Evaporator Fan motor work?
I had to replace my Refrigerator Evaporator Fan (GE part WR60X10074) but it turned out that the problem was the system board (I hope). Anyway, my question is, how does the motor fan work. I see it is DC 9.7V and 3.25W. There are four wires that go to it, so would it be correct to presume there is some kind of relay that turns it on and of inside the motor houseing? The wires are white Blue Yellow and Red. I checked the harness and the Red has a positive voltage of 12-13v. Does anyone know the specifics of how this motor should work? What wires to connect to what? I would like to use the old motor for a followup project. Get the answers Refrigerator Evaporator fan problems again?
