How does the Red Cross search for missing family members overseas?
Through collaboration with other Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, who in turn use the necessary means available to them in their country. Search avenues vary from country to country, however; a common search conducted to track down a missing person is through community leaders who may help with getting information from their communities on where the missing person was last seen or living.
