How Does the RCI Points System Work?
What are Points? The RCI Timeshare System, like many other timeshare companies, has a points system. These points translate to time that you can actually use at the timeshare. With RCI, owners can be on the “Weeks System” or the “Points System.” With the Weeks System, owners have 1 week (or more, if that is what they purchased) to use during the year. The Points System, however, is a bit more complicated. Owners purchase a set amount of points to use per year, and spend the points like money on the condo where you would like to stay. Point Values Every resort has its own point value per night. These values differ for three seasons: Red (Peak), White (Off-Peak) and Blue (Middle of the Road). These values are also different for the type of room or condo that you get. For example, a two-bedroom suite would be more points than an efficiency condo.
