How Does the Raven Magic Kit Work?
Setup The Raven magic trick kit consists of two main objects: A fake coin made of steel and plating and a magnet attached to an elastic band with a clip at the other end. The magnet also has a string that is practically invisible. The elastic band is clipped onto the magician’s belt or within the shirt sleeve. The invisible string has a loop at one end that is hooked onto the magician’s finger. The magnet is positioned on the palm of the hand near the bridge of the thumb. The Trick The magician places the coin in the palm of his hand; experts at this trick can even place it on a spectator’s hand. The magician then waves the other hand over the coin. If the coin is on another person’s hand, the magician can wave both hands. On the third or fourth wave of the hand (or hands), the coin vanishes.
