The ramp has an “L” shaped lip on the top which prevents it from slipping beyond the edge. Normally, this is enough to hold it in place. It also has two pre-drilled holes where you can use two clevis (included) pins for added security. The ramps are specifically designed for use on a variety of surfaces.
