How does the PRSA Nominating Committee operate?

0

In 2001, the PRSA National board established a revised set of policies and procedures for the Nominating Committee to follow. This is reviewed annually by the board and is posted on the PRSA Web site for all interested members. The Nominating Committee convenes in the first quarter of the year to review the PRSA board’s Nominating Committee’s Policies, Procedures and Guidelines, to set deadlines, and to begin the process of recruiting candidates. The Committee’s work continues with conference calls, recruitment of candidates, reviewing candidate materials and endorsement letters, and meeting in August for two full days of candidate interviews, deliberations and decisions. All relevant documents, including Candidate Application and Process Timeline, are posted on the PRSA Web site. This information remains on the Web site during the entire process.
