How does The Protein Bakery give back to the community?
On a weekly basis we donate cookies and brownies to the City Harvest program in New York City. We have done this since our first month in business in 1999. The only exception to this was after September 11th. The founder of The Protein Bakery ran the hot food service on Monday’s in St. Paul’s Chapel at Ground Zero. Aside from overseeing the hot food served, he brought down hundreds of cookies and brownies for the people performing the search and rescue effort. The Protein Bakery has also donated product to fund-raisers for breast cancer, HIV, local children’s schools and battered women shelters.
