How does the process of securing a school-level position work?
District hiring is the process through which teachers find their specific teaching positions in a Delaware school. This process generally includes interactions with both principals and district Human Resources personnel. It is the mission of the Delaware Teaching Fellows to staff schools in high-need areas, and all candidates should be prepared to teach wherever they are most needed and can have the greatest impact on student achievement. Participants must be extremely flexible about their teaching positions.
