How does the Pre-Record Buffer work?

0

DEVA has a cycling FIFO buffer pre the disk itself, which can be any length from 1-10 seconds (or off). The buffer is always active, even when DEVA is not in Record. As soon as REC is pressed, the buffer’s contents are recorded to the disk, so that the first few seconds of the resulting sound file is what was already in the buffer when REC was pressed. It is impossible be caught out on entering Record with DEVA.
