How does the PPS Value affect my KrisFlyer account?

Your KrisFlyer account will not be affected. You will be able to see 3 different sets of information in your account statements online – KrisFlyer miles, Elite miles and PPS Value. You will earn KrisFlyer miles when you travel on a mileage accruable fare on Singapore Airlines or one of our partner airlines, or use the services of our non-air partners. These KrisFlyer miles can then be redeemed for award tickets on Singapore Airlines or any of our partner airlines, or for flight upgrades on Singapore Airlines, SilkAir and selected Star Alliance carriers. Elite miles are miles earned from travels on Singapore Airlines, SilkAir and Star Alliance carriers and they are applicable for Elite tier qualification/renewal in the KrisFlyer programme only. PPS Value will be reflected in your account when you travel First or Business Class on Singapore Airlines or SilkAir. This PPS Value will be applicable for PPS Club qualification and renewal only.
