How does the Power Curbing System compare to hand troweling?
Using a hand trowel, 4-5 men can only achieve roughly 500′ of curbing on a good day. The Curb Striker System reduces that manpower by 50%, requiring only one man screeding, 2 slumping producing 2,000′ per day. Hand troweling requires front and back form boards just as the Curb Striker System does, but the Curb Striker System requires less manpower, and produces more feet of concrete curbing than hand troweling by 1,500′ in a given day. Hand troweling is less efficient, slower, and can lose contour uniformity. The Curb Striker System enables faster ability to reposition the forms which increases productivity.
