How does the Position Lock feature work in Team-up games?
In Ranked Team-Up games everyone in the match will be randomly assigned a team and a player to be locked to. This way everyone’s got a fair shot at the stars and in order to move up the Leaderboard you have to prove you can win at any position. (Non-Wii) In Unranked games original positions are assigned randomly, but you will have the opportunity to switch to any available spot during the team selection screen.
