According to my experiences and the opinions of many others, Xbox Live isn’t that much better than the Playstation Network. Unlike Xbox Live, access to online play on the Playstation Network is completely free. I’ve had my PS3 since January 2007, I have Comcast high-speed internet, I use a Linksys wireless G router to connect the PS3 to the internet wirelessly, and I have experienced very minimal (little to no) lag online or other online problems in general. I’ve heard from others on this site with both the PS3 and 360 who have said that the gamers on Xbox Live are generally less mature and there is more racism and cursing on Xbox Live than on the Playstation Network. Of course that may be due to the fact that fewer people have the PS3 right now. In the end … it all depends upon your specific tastes and preferences. I can only share my opinions … you will have to try them both out and form your own opinion.
