How does the personal assurance message work?
Once you enter your account number on the Golden 1 Online sign on screen, your personal assurance message will display on the password screen. It confirms that you are on The Golden 1 Credit Union’s online banking Web site. When you see your personal assurance message, you are safe to enter your password to access your account information. If you sign on from a different computer, however, you may be asked additional security questions in order to verify your identity. Once you provide the correct answers, your personal assurance message will display and you may enter your password. In addition, you will also be asked if you wish to register the computer from which you are signing on. If you select this option, the system will then record information about the computer, so that you will not have to answer additional security questions the next time you sign on from that same computer.
