How does the person I refer need to open a checking account?
New customers through the Customer Referral Program must open their Wachovia Free Checking account at one of our conveniently located Financial Centers. They can also call a customer service representative at 800-WACHOVIA (800-922-4684) and mention they were referred to Wachovia through the Referral Program.
