How does the Patriot Act affect the Internet with Respects to Privacy?
7. This act takes infringes on American’s First Amendment rights including invasion of privacy. The Patriot Act’s primary purpose was to prevent terrorist acts on The United States. The Patriot Act gives the government the rights to monitor any information from an Internet user. This allows the government to prosecute any information that is used against them.
