How Does the Palace work with the web?

The Palace architecture is seamless with the Web; Web pages may link to Palace sites; likewise, Palace environments may contain Web elements. You can embed URLs in a Palace site, or Palace URLs in a website. The Palace website contains a Palace URL link to the Palace server (on the Palace page, check out the “Enter Here” icon link to see this in action). For example, within a Palace environment, there may be a book on a table — anyone who clicks on it is immediately launched into Netscape which displays the pages of the book. Conversely, Web pages may contain hyperlinks which are Palace hotspots, causing the user to be launched into Palace content on that server (or on another server on the Net). Palace technology and World Wide Web technologies are complimentary.
