How does the painting “American Gothic” show characteristics of the Romantic/Gothic Period of time?
American Gothic medium: oil on beaver board artist: Grant Wood location: Iowa (exact town left my memory, but i go there a couple of times a year to photograph and visit family in nearby towns). (i’m old so i can have memory failure) attending class and paying attention while in class garners answers to all sorts of questions. i’d bet donuts to dollars your teacher/professor outright told the class the answer before assigning a homework project to write a paper about it.
