How does the override process work in the CoB?

An override is permission to enroll in a course that is currently closed. Due to the nature of some courses as well as classroom size, not all requests for overrides can be granted. The College of Business operates a formal override request process. To be considered for an override, the student must complete the interactive override request form available at http://cob.jmu.edu/asc/onlineoverriderequestform.htm. The form will only be available during a select period of time each semester. For activation dates, visit the ASC website at http://www.jmu.edu/cob/asc. Students will be notified via email regarding the status of their requests. If the override is granted, students must register for the course via eCampus before the expiration date.
