How Does the OV-Watch Fertility Predictor Work?
The OV-Watch is a wristwatch-like device that comprises a timepiece, a biochemical sensor, and an advanced microcomputer. The biochemical sensor measures sweat ion changes on the surface of the skin. The advanced microcomputer tracks your fertility status and acts as an advanced ovulation predictor. All of these components together allow the watch to predict the days when a woman is most likely to get pregnant. The sensor on the underside of the watch makes contact with the skin when you wear the watch on your wrist. Using this patented biosensor, OV-Watch detects a baseline chloride ion level for each woman and then accurately predicts ovulation based on the timing of the first peak that comes approximately 6 days before ovulation That chloride ion surge is detectable in a womens perspiration. The OV-Watch Fertility Predictor detects the chloride surge 3 days prior to the estrogen surge, 4 days prior to the LH surge and 5 days prior to ovulation, making it an earlier predictor of ovul
