How does the open source movement impact Kronos?
It doesn’t really impact us in any meaningful way. We use open source to some extent as part of our development efforts. You help other companies manage their work forces, but you also run a work force. What do you want your products to do better? We’re looking for products that are easy to use, easy to implement, easy to support. We’re looking for products that have a low total cost of ownership, in terms of what it takes to run and operate the product from a server perspective, an infrastructure and an IT engagement perspective … We need a product that can support a global work force.
