How does the online driver records process work?
The online driver record request service is a simple process. The first step is to Login by entering the driver license number, date of birth, last 4 digits of your social security number (must be on file with DPS), and the audit number located along the side of your picture (if a CDL, enter all 16 digits). This step allows the application to do a real-time validation of the DPS Driver License database to determine eligibility. The next step is to request the type of driver record and enter mailing information, review the information requested, and pay for the transaction. The final step is to print the transaction receipt.
