How Does the NVQ Assessment Process Work?
• Payment of Initial fees to TASC with Candidate Registration • Candidate Self assessment Forms are completed by the Candidate : these will assist the Candidate and TASC, in discussion with the Employer, to agree upon the appropriate NVQ level and disciplines to be assessed • Induction Day. An introduction to the assessment process and documentation to be completed by the Candidate and Assessor • Assessment Meetings between the Candidate and the Assessor to plan future assessments, review evidence and document progress • 5. Internal Verifications (usually 2-3). TASC Internal Verifiers will examine the Candidate’s submitted portfolio during the Assessment programme to ensure that the assessments are being carried out fairly and in accordance with the mandatory Procedures. This does not usually involve the Candidate • Completion of assessments • Final IV’s • Submission of candidate’s portfolios to ECITB External Verifier for External Verification • Certificate Award.
