How does the Nokia Maps address search in Nokia Maps work?
If you have allowed Nokia Maps to use an internet connection, the search is done on the server and downloaded to the application. If you have not allowed an internet connection or if there is no internet connection available, the address is searched from the map data that has been downloaded to your mobile device. If sufficient map data is not available, no results may be found for a specific query. In this case we would recommend you to switch the network settings in your Nokia Maps application to When needed to perform the address search on the server. To change the network settings in the Nokia Maps application, go to Options > Settings > Network.
