How does the new iPod Touchs internet feature work?
To access the internet on the iPod Touch, you need to be in a wifi hotspot. This could be anywhere from Starbucks to your neighborhood to your own WiFi modem. The iPod Touch will pick up the WiFi signals on it’s own – no worry there. Internet: All you have to do is click the Safari icon. Easy as that. Depending on your connection, it loads fairly fast and easily. The iPod can’t download files. It doesn’t support Java or Flashplayer, the source for most games. It can do full color, load pictures, post on Yahoo! and blogs, and even buy songs from iTunes. When I want to comment on a YouTube video, I use the internet. YouTube Where do I start??? YouTube is so clear on the iPod it is absolutely phonominal. You can bookmark things, watch videos, and browse the Top Rated sections. The only problem is – you can’t post comments from the YouTube button, and you can’t watch videos from the Safari. I hope that this helps. Good luck!
