How does the new “Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act” affect resellers?
After February 10, 2009, children’s products (intended for children 12 and younger) cannot be imported or sold if they contain excess lead or certain chemicals, or fail to meet new mandatory standards for toys. There is some regulatory relief for resellers. It is a seller’s responsibility to check to see if an item has been recalled before posting it. Please let us know if any listed items have been recalled so that we can remove them.
