How does the new AUCC impact Continuing Students?

Beginning Fall Semester 2007, the following changes in the AUCC will take effect: • The Arts and Humanities requirement (Category 3B) is being increased from 3 credit hours to 6 credit hours • The following categories are being deleted: • Logical and Critical Thinking (2B) • US Public Values and Institutions (3F) • Health and Wellness (3G) • The intermediate foreign language courses currently listed in a subcategory of Additional Communication (2A3) will be moved to the list of courses under Arts and Humanities (3B). Refer to the Courses for Revised AUCC Effective Fall 2009 document for a description of the categories, along with a list of courses that fulfill each category. All continuing students will move to the new AUCC with the following policies: • If a student has fulfilled categories 1-3 of the AUCC before the beginning of the Fall Semester 2007, he/she will have fulfilled categories 1-3 of the new AUCC. • If a continuing student has not completed categories 1-3 of the AUCC pri
