How does the Nature-Pure system work and what does it remove?

Nature Pure Water Purifier uses General Ecology’s proprietary “Structured MatrixTM” Ultrafine cartridge. The Ultrafine cartridge uses submicron filtration to physically remove particles larger than 0.4 microns absolute (0.1 nominal). This includes all visible particles as well as pathogenic bacteria and protozoan cysts. The Ultrafine cartridge also incorporates high quality adsorption and molecular sieving materials to remove chemical compounds such as herbicides, pesticides, and solvents as well as foul tastes and odors. Finally, both plus and minus charges are incorporated into the cartridge to attract oppositely charged particles even smaller than those removed by microfiltration. All of these purification mechanisms, working together, produce drinking water that is not only refreshing but also pleasantly clear and sparkling.
