How Does The N-GTA Study Relate To The Role Of The GTTA And It’s Inter-Regional Transportation Plan?
The GTTA is mandated to develop a transportation plan for the GTA and Hamilton. The GTTA legislation requires the GTTA transportation plan to conform to the Growth Plan. Given that the Growth Plan identified the N-GTA Corridor as an important transportation/economic link, the ministry will work closely with the GTTA to ensure information and findings from the N-GTA study is considered in development of the GTTA Transportation Plan.
