How does the MX250 support emergency services?
When all the users of the MX250 are located at a single location, support for emergency services is transparent to the user. When individuals are at multiple locations, and are connected to the MX250, the administrator specifies in advance a list of locations. When a user makes an emergency call from a particular location, the MX250 will dial the appropriate number to reach emergency services for that location. When a call is made to an emergency service, all operators are immediately notified, and can therefore direct the emergency response team to the appropriate location.
