as we know that mrp means : MAXIMUM RETAIL PRICE ,we cannot sell any product more that its mrp.it is managed by the quality & products managment of india.in hotel and restaurents the prices are not same becoz the quality and quantity of any dish or food is managed by the owner of that restaurent or hotels. If the shopkeeper is selling the product more then its actual value, then u can complaint to the CONSUMER COURT.
