How does the MPA Inventory relate to the list of MPAs called for in the Executive Order?
The MPA Inventory will be used to identify existing sites and/or programs that meet the criteria for nomination to the national system and inclusion on the subsequent List of MPAs. Agency consultation and public comment processes for nominating and including MPAs in the national system are being developed via the public review process for the Revised Draft Framework.
