How does the model deal with co-located schools?

0

For education program purposes, a building with co-located schools are treated as separate schools based on the designation reported to the WDE (i.e., if one building contains two co-located schools (e.g. K-8 and 9-12 in the same building), each school will be treated separately in the model on School Resources Page). However, for M&O calculations, the model is designed so that it does not double count a buildings square footage, but rather treats all of the square footage in the building as if it is used for the highest level school co-located in the facility.
