How does the model calculate the number of Assistant Superintendents for a district?

0

The model calculates administrative positions for districts based on the ADM within the district. Districts with ADM less than or equal to 500 receive 3 administrative positions and districts with an ADM of 1,000 receive 4 administrative positions. Districts with ADM above 1,000 have a pro rata increase. A per pupil adjustment exists to prorate from the staff generated at the 500 and 1,000 ADM levels. Since Wyoming has local control, a district can choose if they want to have an Assistant Superintendent. For more information, this can be found on page 142 of the final report.
