How does the MailCase handle outgoing mail?

There is a mail clip on the inside of top door. This clip is designed to handle several normal sized envelopes for outgoing mail. The MailCase also comes with a flag. When you have outgoing mail then you can put it in the clip on the inside of the top door and raise your flag. When your mail carrier opens the top door to deliver your incoming mail, they will see your outgoing mail and take it and lower the flag for you. In order to get USPS approved the MailCase is required to have outgoing mail capability. However, we strongly recommend NOT putting any sensitive documents in the outgoing mail clip. To keep your identity secure we recommend taking your outgoing mail to the Post Office or to the blue mailboxes placed by the Post Office.
