How does the LUBRISILK Aerosol spray work?
The Boron CLS Bond Technology in the LUBRISILK Aerosol spray bonds a near diamond hard solid lubricant on to any metal surface. An important and unique feature of the Boron CLS Bond technology is its ability to penetrate into the metals surface while forming the protective solid lubricant surface coating. During this process any rust on the surface of the treated metal is removed as Boric Oxide bonds with the metal surface. Boric Oxide is highly anticorrosive and will stop the formation of further oxidation or rust. Most other aerosol spray lubricant products on the market are water encapsulating and actually trap water on the metal surface.
