How does the lottery system used for concert ticket sales work?
The lottery system begins one hour prior to a concert or show on-sale. Everyone in line at the Arena’s box office one hour before opening is given a number. A number is then randomly drawn, and the person holding that number becomes the first person to purchase tickets for the show. The line will form in order beginning with the number drawn. For example, if five numbers are distributed, and is drawn, the line formed would be 4-5-1-2-3. All patrons arriving after numbers are distributed will be put in the back of the line.
