How does the LHRP relate to the Leapfrog Hospital Quality and Safety Survey?
The LHRP incorporates the data collected through the Leapfrog Hospital Quality and Safety Survey in its measures for the LHRP. In order to participate in the LHRP, hospitals must participate in the Leapfrog Hospital Quality and Safety Survey. However, participating in the survey does not qualify hospitals to participate in the LHRP. Hospitals must also release the necessary JCAHO core measure data and resource-use data to Leapfrog to be eligible.
