Most Pacific Island countries do not have specific human rights legislation or any specific organization that is in charge of monitoring and advocating against discriminatory behaviour. With the exception of Papua New Guinea, most, if not all, Pacific Island countries do not have comprehensive HIV/AIDS management legislation.
